It's official, the Ashes are lost.

Or to be more correct, the Poms have won them back. As soon as the two last batting bunnies go out, the poms will go in, say "by gum it's dark out 'ere" and walk off. Game over.

Fatalistic bunch, aren't you? And stop whining about light and weather- we would have won the series by now if we hadn't lost a day to rain during the Third Test. Besides, who's team couldn't pull past England today despite ending Saturday on 277-2? Anyway, blame all the subs, weather, light, or whatever you want; the Aussie game has bigger endemic problems than overcast skies.

Sledging aside, its been a hell of a series, eh?

Weel, it has been a fantastic series, I can't believe how your countrymen have jumped on board. It's like 1966 all over again. Lap it up guys. you'll get two years to gloat and then it'll be on again.
If only we could take some friggin' catches.

Yup, we're stuffed.

Maybe I shouldn't be so negative, 5 wickets down and Flintoff is gone.

I slept, it was a done deal.

OK, tell the truth, I was asleep by 1:30 after all the dropped catches and that over after lunch with Brett Lee being belted for 40 in 4 overs, it was over then.
We need a Victorian captain.
The ACB should run a competition on baggygreen.com.au where the public can send an SMS to vote for the captain. Guess who'd win!

In keeping with the twitter theme.
