Benny makes the big time.

Well it was on the cards, the big man from Geelong, Ben Graham, who gave up a season or two to try his luck punting in the NFL has won a job with the New York Jets. Fantastic effort that. It was questionable whether he would have even played for the cats this year, I'm sure they missed him, but fact is that he probably would have been a bench player at best and why not try your luck. As a punter, he can probably go on for at least another 5 years, maybe even 10. Another Aussie, Darren Bennett has been there for 11 years, he was named All Pro in his first season and many times after that as well.
Benny will match Bennett for length in his kicking game and from the reports, he spins the ball in flight so as to make it difficult to catch, good thing in the NFL, not good if you want to pin point Gary Ablett Jnr on the wing. So overall, Geelong fans while initially upset should be happy that his time away from our game has not been wasted.
Hurrah, Benny.

you didn't mention his full name - ben graham. i wouldn't have cared if he wasn't ex-geelong but there might be some serious readers out there who would care.

Hey clokeeeey!
how are ya? I thought i'd drop you a line just so you know that i'm still holding to my prediction of a mighty (but tighty) Ashes victory for the ruling classes.
Now let's just remind ourselves, I did say "watch out for the 2nd or 3rd test, something could happen" and i do believe I told you it would remain competitive into the 9th month, just as the ancient scriptures foretold. All the while you were ready to claim victory after the third test!
I had thought about holding my tongue until victory was assured but then i remembered that you lot need a few days to read these comments, all those big words.
your favourite pom, Bowlesy!
